Works on every Tesla model

Never come back
to a hot car again.

Your Tesla's interior can hit 130°F in the sun, baking the dash, seats, and screen. VentMode cracks the windows automatically when it's hot, and rolls them safely back up at night or before rain. You never touch a thing.

The only way to auto-vent

Tesla's climate settings can run the AC on a hot day, but they can't crack your windows on their own. There's no built-in option to auto-vent. VentMode is the only way to open the windows automatically, letting heat escape naturally to cool the cabin and spare your battery.

Saves your battery

A hot cabin forces your AC to work overtime the moment you start driving. VentMode keeps the interior closer to outside temp, so climate control barely has to work, and your range stays yours.

Notified every time

Get a push notification the moment VentMode opens or closes your windows, so you always know what happened without checking. Add it to your phone's home screen and it works just like a native app.

No more hot car

Windows crack open the moment it hits 75°F outside. Set it once and it just runs, every day, forever. No app to open, no reminders, no manual toggling before every drive.

SETUP

Three steps, then forget it

Connect your Tesla

Authorize through Tesla's official OAuth flow. We never see your password, only a scoped access token.

Flip one toggle

Enable automation per vehicle. Pause it anytime from the dashboard in one tap.

Walk away

VentMode checks in hourly. Hot and dry, windows open. Rain or your set close time, they shut. You stop thinking about it.

THE ACTUAL DASHBOARD

Not a mockup. This is what runs your car.

Live outside temperature, rain forecast, and connection status for every vehicle you add. Vent and close manually any time, or leave automation on and forget it's there.

WHY IT MATTERS

Heat gets trapped. Venting lets it out.

A parked car heats up because of the greenhouse effect, the single biggest reason cabins get dangerously hot. Sunlight pours in through the glass, but the heat it creates can't get back out. On a warm day a closed cabin can climb 30–50°F above the outside temperature in under an hour.

The greenhouse trap

Glass lets sunlight in and traps the heat it becomes. With the windows sealed, that heat has nowhere to go, so the cabin bakes far hotter than the air outside.

Venting is the release

Cracking the windows is the most effective passive way to let trapped heat escape: no energy, no AC, no battery drain. Hot air flows out, the cabin equalizes toward the outside temperature.

Heat wears your car down

Sustained high cabin temperatures can, over time, crack and fade the dashboard, dry out seat leather and trim, and stress sensitive electronics. Keeping it cooler protects the interior you paid for.

Parked cars only
Driving, charging, or in a wash? VentMode skips the vehicle entirely.
Rain stops everything
Live weather plus a 3-hour forecast. Any chance of rain, windows stay shut or close.
Hours you set yourself
Pick when venting starts and when windows close for the night. They always close on schedule, never left open overnight.

Why isn't this cheaper? Every vent-and-close cycle wakes your car over Tesla's Fleet API, and Tesla charges per API request. Waking a vehicle twice a day, every day, for a year adds up, and that cost is baked into the $29/year price. See developer.tesla.com for Tesla's official API pricing.
