Only acts on sleeping vehicles. If you're driving, charging actively, or in a car wash — it skips.

Session expires? VentMode re-establishes the handshake and retries automatically. Zero intervention.

🔒SIGNED COMMANDS

HMAC-SHA256 via Tesla's Vehicle Command Protocol. Your key never leaves the server. Replay attacks blocked by counter.

Three steps,

Connect your Tesla
Authorize through Tesla's official OAuth flow. VentMode never sees your password — only a scoped access token stored in Redis.

Set your preferences
One toggle per vehicle. Enable automation, or pause it anytime from the dashboard.

Walk away
VentMode runs hourly on Vercel Cron. Hot and dry? Windows open. 8pm? They close. You stop coming back to a hot car.
SAFETY

Built to never surprise you

Sleeping cars only
Before any command, VentMode checks your vehicle's state without waking it. If the car is online — driven recently, charging, or in use — it skips and waits.
Rain stops everything
Current weather + 3-hour forecast from Open-Meteo. Any precipitation probability and VentMode holds off, or closes windows already open.
Hard close at 8pm
Every night. Regardless of conditions. Windows don't stay open overnight. No edge cases.
Cryptographically signed
Tesla Vehicle Command Protocol. HMAC-SHA256, ECDH session, per-command counter. Replay attacks are structurally impossible.
